Year 6 Graduation, Big Day Out and Pole Painting

Year 6 Graduation

On the last Tuesday of the school calendar, we have a year 6 Graduation between 5:15 - 5:45 in the library.  This involves a graduation cake, receiving a signature bear and taking photos of the group.  Families of children graduating year 6 are invited to attend.  Formal certificates are presented to all graduating Year 6 students at the Awards-Concert Night, later that same evening.

Year 6 Big Day Out

On the last Wednesday of the School calendar the year 6 children have a special celebration to mark the end of their 7 years of primary schooling.  For example, Year 6 children attend Launchzone and then Sizzler and are back by around 1 pm ready for pole painting.

Year 6 Pole Painting

On the last Wednesday of the School calendar, after returning from their Big Day Out the year 6 class paint one of the concrete poles under the building.  This tradition first started in 2006 and is a great way to leave their mark on the school.
